The Wave London
Join us at our first series of public events to find out about our early plans for The Wave London – an oasis of sport, health & wellbeing, leisure and relaxation.
We opened our first facility in Bristol two years ago, and we’re now looking to bring our vision to Edmonton for residents to experience the joys and many health benefits of water and waves. We have identified a site just behind Lee Valley Athletics Centre, which is currently being used as a golf course.
We are looking to:
Create the first inland surfing destination in any capital city around the world.
Provide an immersive experience for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
Open up the beautiful green spaces and lake to more people.
Invigorate and recharge this site, with water and waves, plenty of green space and even more biodiversity.
Work with the community to help shape and develop our plans.
Create spaces for people to pause, rest and relax, with food and drink and facilities for children and families.
